Big Time Rush is an American pop-rock boy band formed in the year 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. They appeared on Nickelodeon's television series, Big Time Rush. The series aired from November 28th, 2009 to July 25 2013. The premiere episode introduced the group's debut promotional single, "Big Time Rush".
