Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actor who is most well recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003 she has proved her versatility in the role of actress with stunning performances on television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Anna's role in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. The first time she was recognized was for her role in the biographical documentary All the Way. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show to a third season. Hind completed filming for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, a Hollywood blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is set to release by mid-2019.
